Service Policies
The Nurtured Nest provides practical, in-home household support designed to help growing families feel more rested, organized, and supported at home.
Arrival Times
I make every effort to arrive on time for scheduled visits.
Occasionally, weather, traffic, illness, or family emergencies may cause delays. If I anticipate being more than 15 minutes late, I will contact you as soon as possible.
Illness Policy
The health of your family and mine is important.
Please notify me as soon as possible if anyone in the home has:

Fever
-
Vomiting or diarrhea within the previous 24 hours
-
Influenza
-
COVID-19
-
Contagious illness requiring isolation
Visits may be rescheduled at my discretion if illness is present in the home.
Likewise, if I become ill, I will notify you promptly and reschedule your visit as soon as possible.
Weather Cancellations
If severe weather makes travel unsafe, visits may be rescheduled.
I will always communicate any changes as early as possible.
Scope of Services
Services may include:

✓ Kitchen resets and dishes
✓ Bottle and pump washing
✓ Making beds
✓ Grocery put-away
✓ Household organization
✓ Nursery setup and organization
✓ Household restocking
✓ Returns and errands
✓ Seasonal household projects
✓ Other mutually agreed upon household support tasks
Services Not Provided
The Nurtured Nest is not:

A cleaning company

A nanny service
-
A childcare provider

A medical provider
-
A nursing service
-
A doula service
Services do not include:
-
Deep cleaning
-
Shower or floor scrubbing
-
Exterior home maintenance
-
Heavy lifting
-
Transporting children
-
Medical care
-
Administration of medications
-
Overnight childcare
Children in the Home
Children are welcome to be present during visits.
While I may naturally interact with children while providing household support, my primary role is not childcare.
Parents or guardians remain responsible for supervising children at all times unless otherwise specifically agreed upon in writing.
Pets
Pets are welcome.
For everyone's safety, pets with a history of aggression must be secured during visits.
Household Supplies
Families are asked to provide:

Laundry detergent

Dish soap
-
Cleaning supplies typically used in the home

Organizational products if requested
I may occasionally provide small supplies at my discretion.
Confidentiality
I understand that allowing someone into your home requires trust.
All information shared during visits is kept confidential.
I will never share personal details, photographs, or information about your family without your explicit permission.
Respectful Environment
The Nurtured Nest reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if:

Unsafe conditions exist

Aggressive or threatening behavior occurs

Illegal activity is present
-
Conditions place the provider at unreasonable risk
